Cardiac ETO Sterilizer
The Cardiac ETO Sterilizer supports cardiac surgery and interventional cardiology with validated cycles for polymer-rich devices, electronics and long-lumen catheters. EO sterilization protects delicate materials and allows terminal sterilization within breathable packaging for reliable shelf life before use in the cardiac OT or hybrid lab.
Working Principle and Process Flow
Following preconditioning, EO gas is introduced to the chamber at a defined concentration and humidity. Exposure time, temperature and pressure are controlled for complete microbial inactivation. Aeration removes residual EO to meet acceptance limits prior to sterile store release.
System Options for Cardiac Use
